UniversityJunction accounts are intended for our student members to share educational resources. The following Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a member of UniversityJunction. Remember that your use of UniversityJunction is subject to these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, and our Copyright Policy.

UniversityJunction is intended for use only by university and college students. You must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time university student to register for, and use, this website. You may not use UniversityJunction to violate your university’s code of ethics or policies, including any copyright policies.

Play nice with the other members of the community: please be respectful and polite.

The community relies on your participation; everyone benefits when you share resources.

Certain materials and activities are not appropriate for UniversityJunction. Please review the following list for guidance. We can terminate your account if you violate these rules.

UniversityJunction respects the intellectual property of others, and we expect our users to do the same. Our community relies on educational content, but when uploading, please respect copyright laws.

• You may not upload any content that infringes upon the copyright or trademarks of any third party.
• If you wish to upload copyrighted works that are not yours you must get the owner’s permission to do so.
• You can post web links to any educational resource, even if it is copyrighted.
• Give credit where credit is due: don’t claim other people’s work as your own.

If you believe that your copyright has been infringed, please consult our Copyright Policy, which outlines the steps that you should take to report this issue.

Some kinds of materials do not belong in a community like UniversityJunction. You may not post content that:

• Is obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit.
• Makes threats of any kind, is violent, intimidates or harasses anyone.
• Is defamatory, abusive, hateful, or racially or ethnically offensive.
• Invades another person’s privacy.

Although we are not responsible for the conduct of our users, we want our community to be a safe and respectful place. Therefore, as a UniversityJunction member you may not:

• Use this website to promote, plan, or engage in illegal activity.
• Use this website to stalk, threaten or harass others.
• Post or share any personally identifiable or private information of others (such as home address).
• Send unsolicited or unauthorized email messages (“spam”), advertising, or promotional materials.
• Send viruses or any other malicious software, or disrupt use of this website.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any websites, user accounts, servers, or networks
